This happened at my house the other day:
Zack is 3 years old, and he's playing with an Ertl farm set. He's got a wagon hooked up to a tractor, and in the wagon is a bunch of loose change from his brother's piggy bank.
Me: What's going on there, Zack?
Z: The farmer is taking his money home from the farmer's market!

Awesome! A sure sign that you're doing a great job teaching your children about viable, sensible food systems!
And what insight that he knew it was basically pocket change the farmer took home, lol...laughing and crying together. :)
